It's 8:30pm and I'm relaxing outside Macdonalds using their wireless. It's a perfect evening to be outside. McDonalds here beats Auzzie McDonald anyday! Better Mc Flurys, cleaner tables, code access to the dunies (1234, dont tell!) Wireless, and great outside music. Its the way it should be i recon.

I thought I would write while I've been in such a good mood. I have been feeling sooooo happy to be here. I have loved meeting all the many other misso people, meeting street kids and having lunches and chats with them. And just the pace of life here I am liking at the moment.

Rollerblading seems to be the craze around here, been seeing the young and midage people out there sliding around all day. Might have to get me a pair, haha.

My Romanian Family has asked me if I would do English conversational lessons with Tobi every Thursday for an hour. It will be nice to be able to still be in contact with them.

Hope whoever is reading this is doing well. It's nice to be able to share the trip with you.

Found an old guitar in the house. It needs plyers to tune it haha, at least it doesn't seem to get out of tune quickly. I'm happy about the find, but not sure if my neighbors will be.

The last week been trying to get settled and one of the jobs was attacking the freezer with knives to get the little hatch door open as it had frozen together. Took a good few hours! but in the morning it was all good as I didn't close the door shut properly so most of the promblem ice had metled for me and was settled at the botom of the fridge nicely =)

Home sweet home

My New Home

Some pics of my new home which is also the IT office. Moved in Last Wednesday, so far I'm really enjoying it there. The odd coch coach and freezer that leaks at times, but other then that it is lovely!! Nice and close to my Romanian classes and right across from the University. So lots of handy snack shops =) Will have to survive without internet and tv for a while. But its so nice, the MacDonalds down the road has wirelss

Spring Time

The budding apricot tree out in the yard is just one of the many trees budding, reminding everyone that Spring is here. Definatly been warmer, grass is green and sun is shining and birds are out and about. Its nice =)

Spring!

March = Spring!.....Descovered a park the other day. I was so excitted to find it as i havn't seen such OPEN space for a while. Its gettting warm enough now to enjoy the outdoors a little more. I'll be back there again for sure.

Privacy in the bathroom isn't possible all the time as I now have to watch out for an intruder who has decided to make the window his perch.

Baking

My fist atempt at making anzac cookies =)
My small friends I shared them with weren't too keen with them ...perhaps they looked a bit rough and foreign?
but thats ok, all the more for me!!
